Monday night football, yup, sitting here with #1 watching the game. He almost had a heart attack yesterday because his Chargers barely won by one point. Dinner's a little late today, trying out a new meatball recipie by Paula Deen. It's alot easrier than my other one, hope it tastes as good.
Work was good today. Started training a new pair of Instructors to teach the customer service class, so H, A and myself will finally get a break from it, talk about burning out. We'll be breaking E and S over the next six weeks. V was suppose to break in, maybe he'll join us next week. Once we're done with them I will train a group of 12 new Division Instructors by myself. Not looking forward to all the paperwork.
Well, started planning Thanksgiving dinner today. Number 1 and I were discussing who to include this year in addition to the usual group. He wants to invite Uncle M, I'm o.k. with it, the kids will probably groan. Have to call J to see if she will be joining us this year.
Last years standing rib roast was awesome. Number 1 wants a ham to go with the bird, I'll do a little one because only a few are fans of the ham. We'll start with soup again this year, we'll do broccoli cheese soup, roasted Bird, rib roast and a bitty ham, roasted garlic mashed taters, sauteed french string beans, corn on the cob and then one more side dish, don't know what yet. Better check my pantry, see what I need to get.
Good Lord, number 1 is talking about me making a list for X-mas. NOOOO! Not yet! Oh, the time just went off, time for dinner. Bye.
